Cookies Policy
Last updated: 5 May 2026
This page explains how the AngelsOnEarth marketing website (aoeone.com) uses cookies and similar storage technologies. It is written to comply with the EU ePrivacy Directive, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and Romanian Law 506/2004 on the processing of personal data and the protection of privacy in the electronic communications sector.
Short version
aoeone.com does not set non-essential cookies. We do not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, social media trackers, session cookies, or any third-party trackers. The site uses only the minimum first-party storage strictly necessary for it to function.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website can store in your browser. They are typically used to remember preferences, authenticate users, or track behaviour for analytics or advertising. Under EU law, non-essential cookies require your prior, freely given, specific, informed and unambiguous consent before being set.
Cookies we use
At the time of writing, this site sets no cookies — essential or otherwise. The signup and contact forms transmit form data over HTTPS to our server but do not store anything in your browser.
Should this ever change (for example, if we add cookieless analytics such as Plausible, or first-party essential cookies for a future feature), we will update this page and, where required by law, ask for your consent before setting any non-essential cookie.
Third-party services we use
While the site itself sets no cookies, the following third-party services may receive limited information when you interact with us. None of them set cookies in your browser through this site:
- Resend (transactional email provider) — receives your form submission so we can email you and our team.
- AWS Amplify Hosting (web hosting) — receives standard server logs (IP, timestamp, requested URL) to operate the site. Logs are retained for a limited operational period.
- GitHub — used server-side to fetch desktop installer download links. Receives no data about you when you browse the site; only when you click a download link.
How to clear cookies
Even though we do not set any, you can review and clear cookies for any website at any time using your browser's privacy settings. Major browsers provide controls under Settings → Privacy.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookies Policy if our use of cookies changes. The date at the top of this page indicates when it was last revised.
